How many times have you given up on French?
Believe me, I get it. We don't have time to sit and study for hours anymore. Our tech-fed brains are not as efficient at it as they used to be too. And learning rules, filling gaps in texts or reciting stuff is dry. So how can one hope to remember rules and vocabulary then?
By letting go!
From now on I will be teaching French in groups and through art-making and sightseeing. It won't make you DELF-ready in three months but it will feel much more pleasurable and by taking things slowly, you will remember what you learn more durably.
Take it as a hobby and have fun!
Choose your favourite option:
French through art-making
Workshops will be hosted in Bergerac in-person in groups of four to eight people.
By learning to communicate your needs around art-making and flashcard acquisition, you will make your way through the basics of the French language.
You will be building on what you understand (with a little help from the whole group!) and leaving out what you do not understand for a later time while having fun with paints, collage, photography, etc.
Connect to the kid within you who learned English before going to school, without asking for grammatical explanations. That kid is still in there!
Obviously, these lessons are open to everybody, you do not need to be an artist at all to join!
Sightseeing in French
It would be a pity not to make the most of what the Dordogne has to offer in terms of places of interest, hikes, museums and caves. Let's get out there and learn more about a gazillion topics all adapted to your level of mastery of the French language.

French for Horse Riders
So you need to learn French but your four-legged friends take up all your time?
Glad to hear it. I LOVE horses.
Let me come to you and teach you French while you scrub, saddle, ride and pick hooves. I have insurance to work around horses and I know how to behave around them - your horses your rules.
We will use stable management vocabulary and build your linguistic skills from there. As a bonus you will remember better when you keep your body busy!
